After four years of continuous touring, Canada's premier Celtic rock band "Hunting McLeod" has proved that Celtic music is cool.

Hunting McLeod's traditional bagpipes and fiddle transform into a new evolution of Celtic sound and powerhouse rock when mixed with electric guitar, bass and drums. Using a repertoire of traditional as well as original tunes, Hunting McLeod has a debut CD, a live DVD, a live CD with bonus tracks, and a brand new studio CD for the 2007 touring season! Boasting a fan base aging from 2 to 92 years of age, you've never seen Celtic music played like this before... the stage performance is as electric as the music itself!

Hailed as "the most energetic Celtic band around", Hunting McLeod is a bit of familiarity - with a double shot of adrenaline - and is a guaranteed favorite at every event!

Corey's Ride
to Conquer Cancer

On June 21-22, 2008, Hunting McLeod's own Corey Walden will be participating in something big. This date marks the inaugural Ride To Conquer Cancer -- A 200 Kilometer bicycle trek from Toronto to Niagara falls, Ontario.

If this sounds ambitious, it is! In order to prepare for this event, Corey has commenced a rigorous training program. But in addition to getting into physical shape, he has a more important task -- and this is where you come in. The purpose of the ride is to raise funds for The Princess Margret Hospital, one of the leading cancer treatment and research centres in the world.

Corey's personal commitment toward conquering cancer is to raise $2500.

How can you help?

  • Visit Corey's personal web page at www.conquercancer.ca/goto/walden
  • Sponsor Corey to whatever amount you can!
  • Tell other people about Corey's Ride to Conquer Cancer

As you may already know, 1 out of every 4 will die from cancer.
For more information, visit Corey's web site.

Together we can make a difference!
